Frequently asked questions
Is it really free with no watermark?
Yes. We don't add watermarks to any output, on any tier. Free users get the same clean output as Pro users — the difference is in file size limits, processing volume, and AI feature access (Pro adds AI Summarize, Chat with PDF, Translate PDF).
Can I edit a PDF that I didn't create?
Yes — any PDF you have legitimate access to. We respect password-protected PDFs (you provide the password to unlock first; we never bypass unknown passwords). Don't use the editor to modify documents you don't have permission to edit.
What's the catch?
File size capped at 100 MB on the free tier (200 MB on Pro). Processed files auto-delete in 1 hour (7 days on Pro for re-downloading). AI features (Summarize, Chat with PDF, Translate) require Pro because frontier-model inference has real cost. Everything else, free, no signup, no watermark.
